1) Purchase of right materials (Based on BOM) and meet customer forecast / demand.
2) Price negotiation with supplier.
3) Expedite and monitor delivery with suppliers to meet customer orders / production plan.
4) Control inventory towards company business objective – coordinate and participate in new potential supplier.
5) Ensure smooth supplied without affecting production plan / customer order / business activities.
6) To prepare, monitor & maintain all purchasing related documentation & report accuracy.
7) Liaise with internal department related to purchasing activities such as Production, warehouse & Logistic, QC, Finance etc.
8) To maintain and update data for purchasing related weekly/monthly/yearly document/reports.
Planning
1) Prepare production line planning based on customer demand & production capacity.
2) Plan production load to maximize efficiency based on available resources.
3) Coordinate and report on the resources constrain based on customer demand.
4) Analyze, report and coordinate production activities to control / improve production cycle times in order.
5) Effectively plan to ensure minimum change-over in production and minimum waste production set up time due to change planning schedule.
6) Provide continual improvement on planning and reporting processes.
