Responsibilities:-
- Maintain existing product design communicating with Australian Drawing Database Engineer
- In line with ISO9001, support continuous product design and quality improvement
- Technical sourcing responsibilities including the identification of suppliers and confirmation of compliance with design specification
- Communicate with AHI office in Australia regarding Supplier competence and suitability including pricing.
- Provide appropriate Technical advice to factory workers throughout the assembly process
- Trouble shoot any customer technical or quality issues
- Provide advice to other technical staff including quality control personnel
- Maintain confidential drawing database in Malaysia for purchasing purposes through communication with central drawing database engineer in Australia
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:-
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or related field.
- Sound knowledge industry standards & ISO9001 quality management system
- Strong manufacturing industry experience and ability to trouble shoot of any technical problems.
- Analytical thinking ability and creative design acumen
- Able to use Auto CAD or SolidWorks drawings
- Precise verbal and written communication abilities
- Possess high level of integrity and positive working attitude as well as strong sense of responsibility.
