Senior Executive, Disbursement

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible to assist disbursement unit in order to achieve departmental target as well as to ensure all procedures and guidelines being adhered during disbursement process.
• Engagement with various department such as branches, credit and other related departments in order to expedite and improve disbursement process.
• Liaise with external parties such as suppliers, bankers, contract awarders and other related parties.
• Assisting to attend enquiry from customers through Branches and Client Service Centre (CSC) and to update the respective departments on a timely manner.
• Review disbursement request and supporting documents related to disbursement as to ensure compliance of the approved terms and conditions in the Letter of Offer (LO) and related guidelines such product scheme and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) prior to disbursement approval.
• Ensure SOPs are in compliance as per (5) above and to assist in reviewing SOP & manual for continuously improvement in the disbursement process to enhance efficiency and adhered to guidelines and procedures.
• Review disbursement proposal prepared by officer to ensure the details of disbursement such as amount, beneficiaries and account number are correct, disbursement data in BOS are in line with the disbursement proposal prior to disbursement approval and submission to Finance Department.
• Assisting in preparing periodic, monthly or any ad-hoc report and to adhered the deadline.
• Attending meeting and discussion to represent DU as and when required.
• Assist to handle any ad-hoc task, project or UAT related to department from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Minimun Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
• Experience in contract financing is a must
• Credit & Credit Admnistration
• Analytical thinking, excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
