Role Description

The main role is to assist in the merchandising department to arrange stocks
movement between warehouse to store, store to store, warehouse to store. The merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that product appear in the store at the appropriate time as planned by principal and merchandising team and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely within the team as well as all supporting department to accurately forecast sales trends, plan stock level and monitor market momentum.

Merchandiser also play a key role within organizations, for maximizing profitability. Work closely with warehousing team for planning merchandise allocation & distribution of stock. Coordinate with store for Item Quality Control, to prepare merchandising reports and control /verify stocks. You are required to be hands-on with all matters involving merchandising planning, stock allocations & distribution, coordinate with store operations team and Visual Merchandising team on seasonal launches.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Relevant degree or certification in merchandising, business, or a related field is a plus
  • Applicants with prior similar experience is highly preferred
