The building is a retreat centre nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city with rooms to accommodate 105 stay-in guests and 4 halls / meeting rooms of various sizes. We provide venue for groups to host seminars, workshops, team building, meditation, prayer and other activities.

We now seek individuals of high calibre and dedication to join us in the following capacity. The incumbent shall be required to manage a team of staff to provide excellent hospitality and customer care services to guests along with maintaining a high standard of cleanliness & hygiene throughout the retreat centre.

Position: Building Administrator

Responsibilities:

a) Bookings;
- Monitor and scheduling of rooms/dormitories and meeting rooms,
- Ensuring cleanliness of the Retreat Centre and availability of required equipment for seminars, meetings and workshop,
- Invoices from vendors checked for accuracy and matched to quotations and contracts, and
- Coordinate catering for guests.

b) Building and equipment maintenance;
- Ensure that all equipment is always in good conditions,
- Attend to minor repairs and if outsourced, ensure that the service contracts are duly monitored and all contractors are effectively managed and
- Safety and security of the centre are effectively managed.

c) Staff supervision;
- Daily monitoring of staff for efficiency is crucial,
- Ensure staff are properly dressed and courteous to guests.

d) Reporting and analysis;
- Administrative reports and analysis, either routine or as instructed.

e) Guest management;

- Creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, registering and tracking their information, managing their access to facilities, and ensuring their overall safety and comfort.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality and or hotel management
  • Minimum experience of 4 years in a housekeeping role/front office operation,
    F & B, facility management and customer services with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge in H & S and administering First Aid is an advantage.
  • Committed to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to motivate the team.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiating, problem solving and team working.
  • High level of honesty and integrity at all times when transacting.
  • Enthusiastic and energetic personality with a genuine interest in people.
