Job Summary
The EHS Executive ensure the company's compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security regulations. This role is responsible for conducting safety risk assessments, managing environmental impact, overseeing security operations, and participating in internal audits for the Integrated Management System (IMS). The EHS Executive plays a key role in maintaining compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and relevant legal requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage environmental programs (Waste management, pollution control) and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and regulatory requirements.
2. Security Management
- Oversee the implementation of security measures, conduct security risk assessments, and supervise external security services. Investigate and report security breaches.
3. IMS Internal Audits
- Participate in internal audits for ISO 14001 and 45001, supporting the QA Manager.
4. Incident Reporting
- Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and security breaches, and recommend corrective actions.4.
5. Occupational health and safety
- Conduct safety and health risk assessments (HIRARC), maintain the Chemical Register, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
6. Fire Safety - Manage emergency response teams (ERT), firefighting equipment, and conduct fire evacuation drills.
Other Responsibilities
1. Employee Training
- Provide training on safety and environmental policies.
2. 3R Initiatives
- Promote waste reduction (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) initiatives within the company.
3. Regulatory Reporting
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies (DOSH, DOE, Bomba).
Requirements:
Licenses & Certifications
- Certifications in Environmental Professional (CePIETSO), CePSWaM) or Certified Safety Officer by DOSH/NIOSH are an advantage.
- Any relevant security management certifications would be beneficial.
