Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Materials Engineering or other relevant engineering field
- Experience in PCBA troubleshooting, knowledge in DCDC/ ACDC, fundamental in microcontroller, and hands-on SMD soldering skill will be added advantage
- Experience on Electronic Circuitry Analysis and able to understand schematic diagram
- Knowledge of common computer software packages, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in failure analysis
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Tasks & responsibilities
- To handle customer complaints and customer corrective action report
- Report to the management if any abnormality found
- To handle and troubleshooting non-conforming products
- To conduct the failure analysis, identify the root cause for the failure and recommend the CAR to fix the root cause
- To follow thru the implementation of the CAR
- To issue Failure Analysis Report (Familiar with the FA process flow and analysis techniques)
- To monitor the failure code and profile, to ensure the effectiveness of the problem solving.
- To coordinate, prioritize and conduct the failure analysis on products failed the tests
