Production Supervisor/Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To manage and supervise day to day production activities to ensure production proceeds in a safe and efficient manner according to the plan.
• Lead, manage and motivate a team of leaders and operators to achieve the required output and quality of the products.
• To co-ordinate with various parties on production requirements for different product lines.
• Monitor and evaluate production data, including metrics for productivity, yield, and quality, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• To manage and allocate appropriate manpower and resources to the different products lines based on loading and customers’ requirements.
• Liaising with Planning and Logistics Departments to ensure prompt shipment of products.
• To organize and conduct on the job training of new and existing employees for continuous skill improvement.
• To prepare shift wise production reports and assess the performance of the team members.
• To manage material stock and reduce wastage including maintaining proper record of the feed material materials and products.
• Work on shift rotation on monthly schedule

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or relevant.
• 2-3 years in production or operations supervisory position in manufacturing company
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Good time keeping and attention on details.
• Excellent problem solving abilities.
