LANGUAGE CENTRE PRINCIPAL

• Native English speaker, preferably from North America or the U.K. with overseas work experience in Asia
• Undergraduate degree in education or business with a master’s degree or PhD being a plus
• Five (5) or more years of experience in the education sector including both teaching and school management along with other relevant business experience
• Work with the board of directors to set forth and implement future strategies to increase student enrollment and expand the scope of programs on offer
• Oversee day-to-day school operations, and manage logistics and budget
• Knowledge of school administrative processes and national educational and labor regulations
• Interview and hire competent administrative personnel
• Laison with head teacher to source, train and monitor instructors to ensure students are continually receiving high quality instruction
• Provide quarterly updates to the board of directors
• Be an effective communicator/presenter needed to generate business opportunities, forge strong bonds within the community, and motivate and inspire both staff and students to personally grow and succeed, and to
• Lead by example exhibiting high ethical standards, conscientiousness and integrity
