foodpanda’s Central Operations is looking for a Senior Specialist, People and Culture (IC2)

SENIORITY LEVEL : Experienced

FUNCTION : People Operations

LOCATION : Southgate Commercial Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

REPORTS to : Lead, Learning and Development


ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Senior Specialist, People and Culture (IC2) will be part of the People Team that owns internal communications, change management, employee happiness & well-being and engagement. A successful individual will be able to think about the organisation & its people in all angles by embodying our culture, our values & our principles.

Engaged employees are better performers and improve company retention, so this role will have an enormous impact on the team.


WHAT YOU WILL OWN:

1. Internal Communication & Change Management

  • Create, customise and cater communications & change management according to seniority of employees, content of work and ultimate goal
  • Good understanding of organisational impact as well as stakeholder management.
  • In this role, you are a communications guru, and will often be roped in to support and work closely with senior leadership team and/or the People Team on communicating change and or new policies

2. Employee Happiness & Wellbeing

  • With Mental Health as a growing need in any organisation scope, you will own this topic by developing & maintaining a framework that caters to all seniority and backgrounds.
  • You own the employee happiness survey and provide constructive feedback & solutions by leveraging on data and insights gathered.

3. Develop, Manage And Implement Engagement & Company events (that are aligned with the business and our eNPS survey) as well as the overall onboarding/off-boarding experience

  • You are able to work independently and/or with a team to source the right vendor for the above initiatives
  • You are able to budget the event and while thinking of return on investment by ensuring a high participation rate & employee happiness.
  • You are able to communicate, market & brand effectively.

4. Own department level engagements, town hall, events, etc. as part of the overall Employee Happiness initiative

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE.

  • Bachelor’s degree (Psychology, Business, Communications, etc.) or relevant experience.
  • 2 to 3 years experience in Employee Happiness & Wellbeing AND Internal Communications.
  • Project management experience and/or certification.
  • Excellent Communication skills, with capabilities of writing and drafting Comms in English.
  • You have intermediate knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
