- Serve as the initial contact for payroll and e-leave inquiries, addressing and resolving issues.
- Oversee the e-Leave portal and handle employee leave-related questions.
- Implement complex HR processes in accordance with established policies, ensuring high-quality data management and documentation while providing ongoing employee support.
- Update and manage HR information in the WorkDay system.
- Organize and maintain personnel records in both digital and physical formats.
- Safeguard employee confidentiality and ensure proper filing of all relevant documents and correspondence.
- Draft HR documents, including employment contracts, resignation acceptance letters, confirmation letters, new hire guides, welcome emails, exit checklists, and bonus letters.
- Conduct new hire orientations, including HR, IT, Finance, and Admin briefings, welcome lunches, and onboarding feedback surveys.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, manage terminations, and conduct exit interviews.
- Maintain company directories and organizational charts.
- Assist with HR project preparation, requirements gathering, application setup, data conversion, and go-live support.
- Collaborate with HRBPs/Generalists to coordinate project activities and daily operations.
- Manage employee insurance coverage, keeping data current, and work with providers on annual renewals.
- Order materials such as uniforms and welcome kits.
- Organize and oversee employee events like birthday celebrations and other related activities.
- Handle expatriate administration duties, including work permit renewals.
- Support HRBPs with annual dialogue tracking and records.
- Maintain and update the SEA region's public holiday listings and local email distribution lists.
- Drive continuous improvements in HR processes and documentation.
- Update new joiner profiles and master listings for the SEA region monthly for the intranet and global requests.
- Coordinate and support training and development initiatives, including onboarding, compliance, and professional development programs, and track their effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations and quality system requirements.
Profile
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in an HR Generalist role with expertise in HR Operations or Payroll. Familiarity with Workday HRIS and experience in large-scale projects are pluses.
- Skills: Strong numerical, analytical, and technical skills. Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attributes: Highly self-driven, with effective time management and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Must be precise, adaptable, and capable of handling pressure while managing multiple tasks smoothly.
