PROCUREMENT CUM CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities

  • Performing procurement functions for building materials ranging from sourcing, pre-qualifying and negotiating with local and overseas suppliers
  • Operational Procurement: Check and ensure all supporting documents are in place prior to raising Purchase Orders (Pos)
  • To maintain records of savings achieved and explore opportunities for consolidation of spend and aggregation of vendors
  • To negotiate for better pricing and commercial terms to achieve the most competitive bid
  • Sourcing and pre-qualifying potential suppliers
  • To work with internal customers to ensure that their needs are attended to
  • To work with supervisor on process improvement initiatives and to enhance the end to end procurement process
  • Actively involve in handling of cost evaluation and negotiation with suppliers
  • To handle contract administrative work in support of the operations department.
  • To comply and conform to the Company policies and procedures on administration of contracts.
  • To monitor and assist in the preparation of the final accounts of clients and sub- contractor.
  • To coordinate on the submission the progress claims of projects.
