PROCUREMENT CUM CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
Responsibilities
- Performing procurement functions for building materials ranging from sourcing, pre-qualifying and negotiating with local and overseas suppliers
- Operational Procurement: Check and ensure all supporting documents are in place prior to raising Purchase Orders (Pos)
- To maintain records of savings achieved and explore opportunities for consolidation of spend and aggregation of vendors
- To negotiate for better pricing and commercial terms to achieve the most competitive bid
- Sourcing and pre-qualifying potential suppliers
- To work with internal customers to ensure that their needs are attended to
- To work with supervisor on process improvement initiatives and to enhance the end to end procurement process
- Actively involve in handling of cost evaluation and negotiation with suppliers
- To handle contract administrative work in support of the operations department.
- To comply and conform to the Company policies and procedures on administration of contracts.
- To monitor and assist in the preparation of the final accounts of clients and sub- contractor.
- To coordinate on the submission the progress claims of projects.
