Job Description:

  • This position reports to the Director of Global Planning and Inventory.
  • Create new reporting and analytic opportunities by analyzing and understanding key planning processes. Work with relevant functions to develop analytical tools to drive process and reporting efficiencies.
  • Intelligence collection and analysis to support critical strategy decision-making process (supplier capacity, factory capacity, customer demand trend, etc.).
  • Analyze, develop and implement inventory reduction and inventory accuracy projects, along with supply chain optimization projects with global cross-functional teams, utilizing lean methodology where applicable.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive down slow-moving and excess inventory.
  • Identify supply capability / gaps to support the short and long term horizon, develop scenarios with clearly identified assumptions, risks and opportunities to optimize supply across the supply chain, and drive detailed capacity assessments. Well-versed in scenario planning.
  • Proactively develop solid plans and effective solutions to mitigate risks to targets.
  • Identify and drive opportunities in lead time improvement.
  • Work on continuously improving planning process and cycle time.
  • Deep-dive into current process and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and drive project implementation, and ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Conducts strategic supply chain analysis to foster a continuous improvement environment.
  • Manage all escalations and summarize as reports to the management team.
  • Support the global planning process and the operational cadence of activities.
  • Perform regular reporting and ad-hoc requests as required.
  • To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following traits and pre-requisites:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain planning/inventory management is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Good sense of urgency with a strong ability to set priorities.
  • Ethical Business Practices - Accountability, Honesty, and Integrity.
  • Self-motivated; able to take the initiative and work with minimum supervision and direction.
  • Strong logical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Fast learner under pressure.
