Job Description:

  • Maintains electrical systems by establishing and enforcing preventive and on-going maintenance, and testing programs, scheduling repairs, coordinating shut-downs and installations for all electrical and Fire/Gas protection assets.
  • To support daily operations by resolving assets issues from CM reporting and ensuring reliability and availability of assets by executing PM jobs, prioritizing Safety Critical Equipment.
  • Diagnose and fix malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to swiftly identify and resolve breakdowns.
  • Manage in-house contractors (E&I) and provide expert technical support, acting as the Subject Matter Expert to guide and support the team.
  • Responsible for ensuring the maximum availability and performance ratio of the solar plant through corrective and preventive maintenance, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar panel systems.
  • Handle hazardous area installations and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid BO Chargeman (33KV) certificate by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintain high-tension (HT) equipment, including transformers, switchgears, variable drives, and generator sets.
  • Additional consideration given to candidates with IECEx certifications (Ex001, Ex003, Ex004, Ex007, and Ex008).
  • Strong dedication to workplace safety, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Skills:

  • Independent, highly self-motivated and result-oriented.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate, prioritize, meet tight deadlines, and multitask.
  • Fluent in both written and oral English.
