Key Tasks

  • Responsible for the activities in the accounts payable function across invoices, staff claims, expenses and payment.
  • Responsible for the activities in the accounts receivable function across customer receipts and sending monthly/weekly statement of accounts to customers.
  • Oversee and manage customer receipts, vendor invoice, vendor payments, claims to process and record into the accounting system on a timely basis.
  • Review and manage customers and vendors reconciliation.
  • Monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable aging to ensure no long outstanding items.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities (identify, communicate and facilitate resolution with the internal and external stakeholders).
  • Assist in month end and year end closing of accounts.
  • Ensure financial records are in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain proper filing of all correspondences/documentations and reports for audit purpose.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Logistics or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting and logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to multitasks and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • A team player and able to handle confidential information.
  • Required to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders from overseas, proficient in Mandarin will be beneficial.
