Qualifications & experience
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Architect, Building Construction or equivalent in any field.
- 5 years and above working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring of assigned projects. Supervise for all project activities to ensure compliance with the project drawings & specifications, work schedule, QA/QC, safety and relevant requirements.
- Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team. Manage, coordinate and supervise the overall works of building construction/ machinery/ wages.
- Lead a team of site personnel and workers in the planning and execution of day-to-day operation. Monitor overall reporting of work progress to the management. Provide support by responding to issues / problems arising at site operation.
- Coordinate and liaise with all consultants, sub-contractors, clients and other relevant stakeholders. Monitor and regulate the quality of performance of Sub-Contractors & Nominated Sub-Contractors.
- Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions. Plan & review the project schedule, material delivery and control the material wastage. Implement policies, procedures and instructions required by the Management.
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met. Supervise the work of labours, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
- Carry out site inspection and provide reports such as progress pictures, daily and monthly report. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
- Writing of correspondence in Bahasa Malaysia and English to the client (Government) and consultants.
- Undertake any relevant assignment / project / task / responsibility that may be assigned by the Top Management from time to time.
