Finance Assistant Manager (Manufacturing)

• Verify supporting documents for vendor, service provider, and subcontractor invoices before entry into the financial system.
• Liaise with departments on invoice-related issues.
• Prepare and submit banking and supporting documents for trade financing.
• Recommend payments based on the aging report.
• Process approved payments and ad-hoc payments upon necessary approvals.
• Follow up on advance payments without invoices to ensure proper closure.
• Process petty cash reimbursements and staff claims.
• Accrue and reverse accruals for transportation and other costs.
• Ensure timely AP section closure during the closing period.
• Prepare assigned accounting and accrual schedules.
• Submit withholding tax.
• Ensure transactions comply with Malaysian accounting standards and tax laws.
• Liaise with Procurement and Contracts on invoicing and documentation issues.
• Provide supporting details for tax computation submissions.
• Participate in physical stock count and verification.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
• 3 years experience in manufacturing accounting
• Proficient in Excel and ERP system
• Must be willing to work in Seri Kembangan
