Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to oversee the planning, design, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficiency of all IT operations, including network infrastructure, servers, storage, and data center management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT environments and possess the necessary certifications to support best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Manage IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and support staff.
  • Ensure System Security and Compliance: Maintain the security and integrity of the IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure, maintain, and support infrastructure equipment and services.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of the infrastructure and implement improvements as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop, implement, and manage disaster recovery plans and backup strategies.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the budget for infrastructure projects and operations.
  • Stay Current: Keep up to date with emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their impact on the business.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and security protocols.

Qualifications:

Skills / Knowledge:

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Must have 5 credits in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) for subjects including Bahasa Melayu, English, and Mathematics.
    • A postgraduate or undergraduate degree in Information Technology or related disciplines, with a primary focus on IT security and/or cybersecurity.
  • Professional Certifications:
    Candidates should have one or more of the following certifications:
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Experience:
    3-5 years of experience in IT security and/or auditing, preferably within the context of the financial industry.
  • Strong knowledge of network management, server systems, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with security practices, disaster recovery planning, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools and incident management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or Cloud certifications are a plus.

Other Relevant Skills:
Professional certifications related to information systems security, auditing, control, assurance, and risk management are also preferable and will be given due consideration.
