Operation Manager (Dental Lab)

Location: KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur. Next to Abdullah Hukum LRT Station.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be also be responsible for providing on-the-job training for new hires, as well as upskilling programs for current employees. As an operations Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the department(s).

Compulsory:

Candidate shall possess at least Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, related field or Professional Qualification or equivalent.

What you’ll be doing: (Responsibilities)

• Develop and implement relevant plans to improve the work flows & processes relevant to Dental Lab & Designing.
• Identify, analyse operational issues, develop solutions, and implement changes as necessary.
• In charge for the daily operations of the department(s) such as ensuring that all tasks/processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Able to use appropriate reporting tools to report the department(s) tasks, activities & performance. All reports and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage and train team members including plan & provide on-the-job training for new hires and upskilling programs for the team.
• Handle staff performance issues and personnel matters, ensuring that all employees are following company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary.
• Work with other departments to for cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement them where appropriate.
• Other operation duties as assigned by the Company.

What you need to have: (Requirements)

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and trends.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• At least 6 years of total working experience in the related field is required for this position.
