Assist Contract Manager - Oil & Gas (Puchong or Damansara)

Responsibilities:

To implement all policies, activities, procedure as relevant and required by the Company.

Assist in cost checking

To be involved in calling, checking tender document, closing and evaluation of tender document, closing and evaluation of tenders including attending tenders’ interview, recommendation for award.

To scrutinize rationalization of rates and monitoring of contract documentation.

To control and evaluation of variation orders/recommendation for approval.

To process consultants/contractor’s claim and any claims pertaining to project matters.

To prepare monthly financial statement.

To prepare final account and recommendation for management endorsement.

To attend all project meetings and site meetings, if necessary.

Pre-qualification of contractors and consultants.

Prepare project performance and monitoring on weekly project valuation.

Compiling, evaluation and updating of cost analysis and cost plan.

Prepare Letter of Award to contractors/consultants.

To evaluate and compile contractor’s and consultant’s performance evaluation form.

Any other duty & responsibility which the Company may assign from time to time.

Qualification:

i) In depth understanding of the contracting business, including knowledge of industry standards, practices, and regulations.

ii) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the proven ability to draft and negotiate contractual letters effectively.

iv) Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a foces on reaching fair and favourable resolutions.

v)High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

vi)Meticulous approach to contract administration and a commitment to delivering high quality work.

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent field

At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
