Senior Purchasing Executive (F&B Industry, Plentong)

Job Responsibilities:

• Research both local and overseas potential suppliers, especially in the F&B industry.
• Identify and develop relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
• Oversee the entire procurement process from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials without overstocking.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize procurement costs and maximize value.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to address any issues with incoming supplies.
• Coordinate with the production and operation teams to forecast demand and plan for procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Analyze market trends and conditions to forecast material pricing and availability.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the food and beverage or retail industry.
• Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Proficiency in procurement software (SAP), Production Module, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
