Process Engineer (Manufacturing) - Plastic Injection Molding - Kulai - Up to RM7K

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve production processes to achieve optimum performances in terms of yield and productivity.
• Perform UPH and capacity utilization studies.
• Lean activities: UPH improvement, value add study and pull system implementation.
• Provide engineering solutions to process issues through root cause analysis, FMEA and implementation of corrective and/or preventive actions.
• Coordinate project transfer, inclusive of planning for first article builds, transfer / procuring of equipment, tooling, template and fixtures.
• To ensure products conform to customer specifications and requirements.
• To maintain Engineering procedures, Bill of Materials and Work Instructions.
• Maintain the department’s quality system as well as develop new systems to meet the quality objectives of the organization.
• Ensure that the department conforms to the ISO9001, ISO14001 and IATF16949.
• To do benchmarking for continual improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a diploma/degree background in Material Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of working experience in similar role
• Experience in any, some or all of the following processes would definitely be an added advantage: Ultrasonic welding, die cutting, Laser cutting, PU dispensing, Hotmelt dispensing and pleating for filtration products.
• Knowledge in PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, 7 QC tools and etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Process (Mold): 5 years (Preferred)
