A Senior Assembly Supervisor typically oversees the assembly operations within a manufacturing or production facility. Below is a detailed job scope for this role:

1. Team Supervision and Leadership:

• Supervising and leading a team of assembly workers, including managing schedules and assigning tasks.
• Providing training and guidance to team members to ensure they are working efficiently and safely.
• Evaluating team performance and conducting performance reviews.
• Handling personnel issues such as absenteeism, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

2. Production Oversight:

• Overseeing daily assembly operations to ensure production goals and deadlines are met.
• Ensuring that assembly processes are carried out efficiently and according to production plans.
• Monitoring workflow and identifying bottlenecks or delays in production.
• Coordinating with production planning teams to manage shifts and adjust workloads as needed.

3. Quality Control:

• Monitoring product quality throughout the assembly process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Conducting regular inspections of the assembly line to detect defects or issues.
• Collaborating with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and industry-specific quality regulations.

4. Process Improvement:

• Identifying opportunities for improving assembly processes, reducing waste, and increasing productivity.
• Collaborating with engineers or production managers to develop and implement process improvements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
