Assistant Manager, IT & System (IT, AM2)

Job Description:

• Define, communicate and enforce technology-related policies, standards and procedures;
• Mitigate cyber-/ technology-related risks;
• Develop security incident management plans;
• Provide cybersecurity awareness training;
• Plan, design, implement and maintain server configurations, routing protocols, network configurations, storage environments and backups;
• Implement contingency plans to minimize network and system downtime;
• Storage and purchase / rent IT assets, and replace them upon end of life / rental contract expiry
• Maintain and upkeep IT assets inclusive of hardware, software and infrastructure; and
• Troubleshoot and provide supports to users on IT related issues.

Requirements:

• Possesses a Degree in any relevant field;
• Knowledge in IT and cybersecurity is not a necessity but will be an added advantage;
• Possesses at least 3 years of working experience in related field;
• Possesses project management skills and experience in vendor management;
• Has experience in coordinating or managing projects related to technology and systems will be an added advantage;
• Is a self-driven staff in carrying out the tasks assigned and is proactive to handle challenges that may arise;
• Has strong interpersonal skills and maturity to relate with internal staff and external consultants especially when facing project issues;
• Possesses exceptional analytical and problem solving skills;
• Has excellent organisational and time management skills;
• Is meticulous to details that is required to ensure success of the projects; and
• Applicants must be willing to work in Klang and Kuala Lumpur.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• vendor management: 1 year (Preferred)
• IT Project management: 2 years (Required)
• IT and cybersecurity: 1 year (Required)
• Cyber Technology: 1 year (Preferred)
