Account Assistant plays a key role in supporting the accounting and financial functions within a company. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with freight forwarding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Management:
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Verify and reconcile invoices with shipment details to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for shipments and transactions.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
Customer Coordination:
- Coordinate with clients regarding invoicing, payment terms, and account status.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and answer client inquiries related to accounts.
- Assist in generating and sending client statements and following up on overdue payments.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department and other internal teams.
- Manage filing systems for financial records and shipping documents.
- Assist with internal audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
