  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master Degree or higher;
  • Required language(s): Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English;
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
  • Preferably those involved in Entomology, Animal Science, Zoology, Biology, environmental science, Eco-tourism;
  • Applicant must be willing to work in Kota Kinabalu;
  • Applicant must be willing to stay in Mengalum Island when required (provided meals and accommodation).

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the forest specialist to implement an island ecological restoration project, focusing on insects, pests, birds, animals, and plants. Employ sustainable, low-impact methods to restore ecosystems and enhance biodiversity;
  • Participate in discussions and planning for a net-zero island development project in collaboration with professional consultants;
  • Develop presentations related to restoration and net-zero island development, and welcome and interact with visitors by delivering presentations and exchanging ideas;
  • Carry out non-profit day-tour activities on the island, including field surveys, programme design, ecological tour guide, and leading ecological workshops;
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
