Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager in Customer Service for Shipping & Logistics, your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of customer service executives to provide high-quality services and logistics solutions.
  • Overseeing the preparation and verification of shipping documentation for ocean import/export shipments (e.g., Booking Confirmation, Bill of Lading, Packing Lists, Invoices, Insurance Documents).
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and overseas partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Driving continuous improvements in customer service processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications: We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the shipping/logistics industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and overall computer proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively leading a team.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade terms and shipping logistics.
  • Familiarity with relevant shipping software and systems is a plus.
