Job Summary

The Sales Department Head closely works with Sales Division Head and top management to formulate and carry out strategies and plans in order to achieve the company’s sales objectives The position is a sensitive position as this will be treated as a strategic partner in carrying-out sales programs. The position also ensures compliance of the company to all the requirements mandated by law.

Job Responsibilities:

Management

  • Formulate strategies and create necessary plans in order to achieve the company's sales objectives and budgets.
  • Monitors the Department performance, identify areas for improvement and create countermeasures, if needed.
  • Direct, guide, develop, and motivate staff directly supervised and evaluate their performance.
  • Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and reports pertaining to the Division's activities.
  • Review and sign correspondence, memoranda, and reports pertaining to the Division's activities.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and procedures of the Division.
  • Maintain good working relations with colleagues and management as well as with external entities regarding any matter that might affect the operations of the Division.

Functional

  • Create and implement strategies to constantly increase the loan portfolio of the company.
  • Work closely with IT in order to keep the loan application system updated in terms of the market condition.
  • Create/ Improve operating process, if needed.
  • Coach/ Train direct subordinates in order to improve their skillset and mindset.
  • Maintain good relationship with dealer management and staff.
  • Design appropriate incentive package for the sales team.

Other

  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior.

  • Job Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Degree in business or any related field. Master's degree in business administration or other related field is an advantage.
    • Fifteen (15) years relative experience in Sales with a strong background in SME corporate finance product (Industrial Hire Purchase, leasing and money lenders business).
    • Familiar with marketing and risk management for supply chain finance solution, have strong industry knowledge in CNC Machinery, Medical Equipment, Construction and Logistic field.
    • Must have Seven (7) years managerial experience.
    • Mandarin speaker will be added advantage as the role requires dealing with some Mandarin speaking persons.
    • Required Skill(s): MS (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
    • Possess own transport and driving license
