Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management and administration of contracts across the group, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and provide expert legal advice on a variety of commercial agreements, tailored to both standard and unique transactions.
- Handle high-profile transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and joint venture setups.
- Serve as the go-to advisor on all legal matters for our businesses, offering daily support to key stakeholders in business development, finance, HR, supply chain, and more.
- Support the implementation of comprehensive group-wide legal compliance initiatives.
- Deliver engaging and practical legal training for internal teams, fostering legal awareness and best practices.
- Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as needed, contributing to our ever-evolving business.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law and legal qualifications in Malaysia.
- 2 to 8 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE), preferably from a reputable law firm or within an in-house corporate legal team.
- Strong command of both English and conversational Mandarin to communicate effectively with our counterparts in China.
- A proactive, commercially-minded approach to legal issues, with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- A strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and initiative.
- Prior experience in the contract manufacturing industry is a plus.
