The Global E-commerce Assistant Manager/Manager will be responsible for executing the global e-commerce strategy by managing the setup, operation, and optimization of both third-party marketplaces and the company’s e-commerce website. This role is critical in bringing the company’s e-commerce strategy to life, working closely with the Marketing and IT teams. The E-commerce Assistant Manager/Manager will report to the Strategic Planning & Intelligence team in Singapore Headquarters and will collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution of tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Set up and manage accounts on third-party e-commerce marketplaces, ensuring all products are listed accurately with the correct creatives, pricing, and descriptions.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure that all creative assets and product information are up-to-date and aligned with the broader marketing strategy.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s e-commerce website, including product listings, inventory updates, promotions, and customer service.
  • Oversee logistics for online orders, coordinating with fulfilment centers or internal teams to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Provide customer support for e-commerce platforms, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on e-commerce performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Planning & Intelligence & marketing team to ensure the e-commerce website is fully functional, secure, and optimized for user experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably with a focus on third-party marketplaces and direct-to-consumer websites.

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and tools, including experience with website content management systems (CMS).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with internal teams and providing customer support.
  • Strong analytical skills for monitoring performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.

Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of e-commerce operations, including logistics, customer service, and online sales.
  • Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing principles, and e-commerce best practices.
