  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description

1. Work with business SMEs (Product Pricing team, Products team, Operations team, IT team) in defining business requirements, scope and objectives.
2. Perform product setup activities which include parameters table, rates table setup and formula configuration in the company’s life systems for both conventional and takaful products.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve testing defects.
4. Work with vendor, IT and Product Pricing to fine tune performance of calculation engine.
5. Provide actuarial support for product administration and maintenance issues, ad hoc miscellaneous calculation, project initiatives and others.
6. Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
7. Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
8. Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
9. Other responsibilities entailed.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics / Maths / Actuarial Studies Professional.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
