M Contract Executive - Property Field (PJ)

Job Description:

Pre-contract

• Prepare budgetary cost for projects based on detailed analysis of project requirements, materials, labor, and other relevant factors.

• To carry out taking off quantities and measurement.

• Assist in value engineering, cost optimization and budget setting.

Post-contract

• Preparation of sub-contract tender documents, evaluation of bids, and Letter of Award to subcontractors and suppliers.

• Check quantity and advise purchaser on materials to be ordered.

• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, including monitoring project progress, variations, and claims management.

• To track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.

• Prepare and ensure timely submission of Contractors Monthly progress claim and sub-contractor’s certificate.

• Attend tender interview and site meeting.

• Monitor project costs, prepare regular cost reports, and identify variances from budgeted costs, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure cost control.

• Prepare final accounts with clients and subcontractors, ensuring all contractual entitlements and variations are properly documented and accounted for.

• To liaise with client, consultants, Site Managers, Project Managers and Site Engineers.

• Able to meet deadline for assignment given.

• Ad-hoc assigned by HOD/Contract Manager.

• Assist the HOD/Contract Manager.

Qualification :

• Min Degree in Quantity Surveying

Working Experience :

• Min 5 years in Pre & Post-Contract for high rise project experience,

• Familiar in Building / Structural / Architectural Finishes. Infrastructure work;

• Experience/knowledge of Interior Design/renovation costing is an added advantage

• Familiar with building material pricing and labour cost

• Good working relationship with various Consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors;

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point is a must.

• Team Player, Resourceful, Aggressive, committed, willing/able to work long hours

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
