Cost Accountant

Job Position: Cost Accountant (Manufacturing)
Working Hours : 830am -530pm; Mon-Fri
Working Location : Kulai, Johor
Allowance : Transport Allowance

Job Description:
Cost & Inventory Management
1. Knowledge in manufacturing factory for cost allocation method and finish goods production.
2. Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
3. Analyze and recommend cost, cost savings and sales price.
4. Responsible for inventory including physical inventory, inventory control and reconciling inventory module to general ledger and other tasks related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
5. Accurate and timely product cost model to support business operational and strategic pricing, order intake margin analysis and customer product profitability analysis (CPP)
6. Support external audit and tax preparation functions as related to cost accounting.

Reporting & Analysis
1.Month-end closing activities and prepare financial analysis report.
2.Business partnering with other functional heads to optimize business process and drive cost.
3.Actively participate in the annual budget and business plan and monthly rolling forecast process by providing updated cost information across different product lines and manufacturing lines.
4. Monthly cost saving analysis.

Job Requirement
1. Minimum Degree in Accounting with professional accounting qualification
2. Min 5~8yrs of accounting experience in handling costing and inventory management.
3. Experience on SAP System (Cost center reports, Internal Orders, etc)
4. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulation, laws and any other requirement.
5. Strong working knowledge & Skill In Excel
6. Proficiency in mandarin is required as candidate would need to liaise with stakeholders From China.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM9,000.00 per month
