Job Description: The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will be responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customer’s equipment. It is also the FSE’s responsibility to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned. Essential Job Responsibilities: The FSE performs the major functions listed below. This position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and the specific functions are subject to change. a) Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of designated equipment. b) Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications. c) Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times. d) Keeping up-to-date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner. e) Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up. f) Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated. g) Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements. h) Utilising the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues. i) Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals and system sales. j) Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area. k) Adhering to the current regulatory requirements to include, but not limited to, Goods Distribution Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD) and Medical Device Authority (MDA). l) Working in close cooperation with the Sales team to validate commercial, technical and contractual specifications (terms and conditions) for the assigned projects and to ensure that the projects are moving in accordance with the defined technical guidelines. m) Working in close cooperation with the Clinical Application Specialists in managing the technical issues pertaining to the demonstration of existing as well as new applications and equipment. Requirements: • Possess at least a Diploma / bachelor’s degree, preferably in biomedical engineering or any related discipline (electronic, biotech, bio-science, biology/medical, etc.) • With 1-2 years of service experience with ultrasound/ x-ray/ct scan would be added advantage • Priority of motivated starters and fresh graduates as I-Medic will provide training. • Careful and detailed person who is good with computers, networking and software. • Good communication and writing skills in English • Willing to travel as scheduled or requested. • Possess own vehicle.
