Project Engineer

Main Responsibilities

• To prepare & establish engineering documents & drawings, including mechanical, electrical & instrumentation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of boiler system.
• To establish construction drawings and prepare bill of materials required for site erection work.
• To attend to site erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning work, including coordination with vendors, sub-contractors and Client.
• To attend to boiler service work, including coordinating of sub-contractor, liaison with related Local Authorities.
• To coordinate, prepare and submit engineering documents and drawings, procedures to Client, Consultant and related Local Authority for review and approval. To liaise and resolve with relevant parties on any site matter arises.
• To familiarize with the requirements of the Safety Plan, OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 and Regulations, ‘Factory and Machinery Act and Regulations’) and other relevant legislation and how it applies to the project.
• To prepare and submit close-up documentation to Client as work completion record.
• To travel and station at site from time to time in connection with your duties.
• Any other duties associated with your position as and when necessary, from time to time.

What you'll Bring:

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 1-year similar experience will be added advantage.
• Technical skills in AutoCAD.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Computer Literate, knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Power Point.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Candidates shall be able to carry out task independently, possess high integrity, and good interpersonal skills
• Candidates shall be able to communicates effectively with internal and external departments
• Candidates shall perform analytical skills to handle the multiple tasks by priority under pressure.
• Travel is required if necessary.
