Job responsibilities:- 1.To process day-to-day sourcing, purchasing, and inventory planning activities for assigned materials. 2.To develop new sources and make preferential source recommendations for existing materials. 3.To issue purchase orders, follow up with suppliers for order confirmations, including amendments, and coordinate with Finance for advance payments (if applicable). 4.To manage supplier relationships and evaluate their performance to ensure uninterrupted supply and quality. 5.To report and track supplier delivery performance disruptions impacting operations, and investigate and execute all non-conformance corrective actions. 6.To participate, execute and support China Office’s sourcing strategies and initiatives. 7.To conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality standards. 8.To negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms. 9.To collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine material requirements and specifications. 10.To develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance. 11.To collaborate and coordinate with the Production and Warehouse teams to establish agility and good inventory control. 12.To ensure timely fulfilment of departmental orders and sample requests, or communicate the earliest possible date if requested dates cannot be met. 13.To adopt best practices and proactive approaches to reduce slow-moving/aged inventory. 14.To ensure data integrity by performing good data maintenance. 15.To support inventory levels analysis, forecasts, and consumption patterns to identify opportunities for optimization.
