MECHANICAL STATIC & PIPING SUPERVISOR

1. Qualification • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related certificate to the discipline • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industry (Onshore/Offshore Construction) and at least involvement in 2 oil & gas projects (Onshore/Offshore Construction) 2. Competency/Skill • Familiar in various aspects of Onshore/Offshore Construction • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Power Point) • Good communication skill with contractor & direct labour • Must have pre commissioning, commissioning and performance testing experience • Experience on equipment lifting activities • Familiar with modelling software e.g., Navisworks • Inspection and Testing techniques • Piping design requirements • COMPANY Technical Standards (PTS) • Codes and Specifications: ASTM, ASME II, ASME B31.1 & B31.3, API 5L, API 570 • Read and interpret P&ID, Isometric and other construction drawings 3. Accreditation / Certification / Software to perform the function • Registered with CIDB. 4. Job Purpose (Summarize briefly for job position) • Supervise and coordinate mechanical equipment installation as per P&ID and plot plan. • Monitor site working schedule and work progress. • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction contractors and maintain daily supervisory surveillance checks and records ensure that contractors management and supervision are providing safe working conditions and permit procedures. • Routinely study, check and review all contractor scope as detailed in drawings, specifications and instructions to ensure contractors proper interpretation and compliance with the lasted AFC drawings and specifications.
