Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and passionate Kitchen CDP to join our culinary team and oversee the kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for creating culinary dishes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead a team in delivering outstanding dining experiences. This role requires expertise in western food, ensuring our menu quality remains of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Kitchen Management: Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
  • Quality Control: Ensure consistency and quality in every dish served, conducting regular taste tests and inspections to uphold our culinary standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to minimize waste and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Cost Management: Monitor food costs and labor expenses, implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Engage with customers to gather feedback and make adjustments to the menu and service to enhance their dining experience. Constantly think of way to improve serving time during peak hours and agility to adapt to fast pace environment
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the kitchen complies with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen, with expertise western cuisine. Experience in leading role is highly beneficial.
  • Education: Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional culinary skills with a strong understanding of baking and western cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. People person.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes and menu items.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to take feedback
  • Proficiency in kitchen equipment and technology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
