As an UX Designer, you will contribute to customer engagements and create UX transformation deliverables on projects. Additionally, your role primarily focuses on work related to architecture and usability content areas. You know the people you’re designing for and your stakeholders’ objectives, and your goal is to humanize technology and empower business.

Skills and experiences
- Proficiency in UX research methods, information architecture, usability testing, and content strategies
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JQuery and browser compatibility differences.
- Good understanding of web UI programming, including Angular, JQuery.
- Good understanding of UI component frameworks such as twitter bootstrap.
- Good understanding of Web API programming and REST services.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum development projects.
- Experience in application design and change management for a complex IT landscape.
- Familiar with Java/Spring backend programming and REST services.
- Familiar with Search Engine optimisation techniques.
- Experience in troubleshooting of web applications, including browser compatibility and other User Interface issues.
- Familiar with Domino script.
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
- Ability to focus on end-outcomes and work accordingly to achieve the desired results.
- Provide support for the implementation of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans for relevant applications, as required.

- Leading brainstorm sessions to shape research into design vision.
- Assisting in delivering digital products using human-centered design processes.
- Supporting change management during new product adoption.
- Promoting Experience Design within Avanade through communication and presentations.
- Collaborating with content strategists, UI designers, tech leads, and delivery leads.
- Facilitating cross-disciplinary brainstorms to define design strategy.
- Applying human-centered design tools for product development.
