  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About the Role:

Kasagi Labo is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Kuala Lumpur. You will be responsible for the overall development life-cycle and delivery of an Anime social networking platform. This role is ideal for experienced individuals who are ready to take ownership and speed to the next level. We are looking for people who can both validate ideas quickly and see features through to their full potential.

What you can expect to work on:

  • Take ownership of assigned features or modules from inception to deployment, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
  • Develop and maintain our platform using modern technologies (e.g., React.js, Node.js, Next.js, React Native).
  • Ensure applications are optimized for speed and scalability, with a focus on performance and responsiveness.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for front-end development.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive the evolution of our technology stack.
  • Identify and resolve issues or bugs that arise during development and in production environments.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and consistency across the codebase.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design prototypes and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance our platform.
