IT Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Clarify and translate business requirements into IT system functional requirements, system interaction, and flows.
• Work with business users and ensure compliance with policies and business rules.
• Document components into functional specifications required by the Business and/or Technical Project Team (Write Functional Specifications).
• Coordinate with IT teams to clarify business requirements.
• Perform documentation of system manuals.
• Collaborate with business users and technical delivery teams to develop scalable and flexible IT solutions, including:
• Studying both business and system impact.
• Creating user stories, functional design, test strategy.
• Supporting delivery until go-live and providing post-live support.
• Develop functional solution design specifications for IT Technical teams to create corresponding technical solutions.
• Ensure the functional solution design meets the bank's compliance, security, data governance policies, and standards.
• Participate in project meetings to provide clarity and guidance on the functional solution design.
• Update functional solution design specifications as needed.
• Develop test cases and test scripts to ensure the delivered IT systems meet the functional specifications.
• Document data and interface specifications, working with technical teams to define business rules and interface rules.
• Collaborate with cross-domain BAs and teams to provide interface services and/or data requirements back to channels.
• Act as a techno-functional Business Analyst, extending responsibilities to business solutions and system design.

Technical Skills – Added Advantage:

• Experience in hands-on functional design, prototyping, testing, and other implementation activities.
• Familiarity with existing IT system functionalities and functional flows.
• Knowledge of at least one web programming language (Java, JavaScript, PHP, Go, etc.) or scripting language (Bash, ksh, Python, Perl, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Excel or MS Project for planning and reporting.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as HP Quality Centre, JIRA, or similar tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
