About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Operations & Logistics Executive to manage and oversee the company’s inventory and logistics functions. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and supporting the company's business goals through effective inventory and transportation management.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse and Inventory Management:

  • Inventory Process Monitoring: Oversee the entire inventory management process, including related controls, to ensure accuracy from inbound to outbound operations.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of inventory, including stock transfers.
  • Reconciliation: Ensure accurate reconciliation between in-house tracking systems and physical inventory counts.
  • Product Expiry Management: Track product expiry dates and manage the disposal or sale of expired products.
  • Stock Take & Variance Investigation: Conduct cycle and annual stock takes, investigate inventory variances, and provide corrective actions.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the inventory management expert, advising management and supporting other departments on stock quantity-related issues.
  • Stock Checks & Cycle Counts: Perform regular stock checks and cycle counts to prevent discrepancies.
  • Control Systems: Implement and monitor inventory control systems to minimize waste, damage, and theft.
  • Damage & Fault Reporting: Record and report any damaged, missing, or faulty goods.
  • Warehouse Coordination: Direct and coordinate warehouse activities to ensure efficient material ordering, planning, and stock availability within the company’s turnover days.
  • Material Disposal & Reverse Logistics: Coordinate with inter-departments and external parties on material disposal and reverse logistics matters. Collect and inspect returns or damaged goods for possible repacking or disposal if expired.

    Logistics/Transport Management:

    • Goods Verification: Verify goods after picking, matching them against delivery orders (D/O) before and after loading into the truck.
    • Delivery Tracking: Monitor product deliveries to customers, tracking in-transit vehicles and shipments and reporting issues.
    • Damage & Fault Reporting: Record and report any damaged, missing, or faulty goods encountered during the logistics process.
    • Vehicle Compliance & Maintenance: Assist in monitoring the legality of transport vehicles (e.g., Vehicle License, Road Tax, Puspakom) and ensure vehicle maintenance and safety.

      Reporting:

      • Operational Reports: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse operations, including productivity, inventory levels, and safety metrics.
      • Data Analysis: Analyze operational data to offer insights and recommendations for process improvements.
      • Compliance & Assignments: Complete any additional assignments as directed by superiors and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Job Requirements.

Qualification, Education and Experience:

  • Candidates must possess Degree/ Diploma/ Graduate Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent related field.
  • Minimum 1 -5 years of experience in 2PL warehouse operations, logistics/transport and inventory,
  • Experience with inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Preferably with experience from the Food Trading or FMCG Industry or high-volume transactions environment.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on process improvement.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in logistics and warehousing.
    • Computer literacy – Microsoft Office, ERP - Pronto Xi, SQL, Gross Synergy POS System & etc.
    • Ability to work in fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
    • Strong planning, organizational, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Familiarity with courier networks and customs clearance is an advantage.
    • Applications must be willing to work in Shah Alam, Seksyen 22, with own transport.
