QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEERS

Responsibilities

• Perform the quality assurance function such as establishing implementation and quality guideline and procedure.
• Works in collaboration with Management to update QMS documentation and records, work instruction, etc. to comply with recent interpretations of the quality system requirements.
• Understand and interpret customer standards in relation to the work of the organization.
• Create procedures and forms based on the understanding of the process and in relation to the QMS requirements along with customer-specific requirements to ensure compliance with the standards.
• Responsible for performing product and quality control audits.
• To coordinate and monitor production quality assurance inspection/ checking.
• Identified the defect and find out the actual root cause, improvement, corrective action and support process in troubleshooting.
• Facilitate and promote the use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action.
• Assists other departments in setting up related documents to the QMS and provide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques.
• Coordinate and conduct internal audit activities and monitor to ensure competition within the required timelines.
• Ensure implementation of Quality System throughout the company including other business accreditations.
• Conduct and manage on internal audit and correction action reporting system.
• To liaise with external customers and auditors related to Quality System matters.
• Responsible to take charge on external audit, and coordinate with customer and third party during the audit, acknowledge and follow up on all noncompliance raised.
• Responsible for maintaining quality records and other documented information.
• To oversee document control activities according to documented procedures.
• To perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess Degree in Engineering (Mechanical /Chemical/ Applied Science/ Physic/Industrial/Others) or equivalent.
• Able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent urgency sense and follow-up support.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 would be an added advantage.
• Experience in ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949:2016 internal audit would be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin would be required as role requires candidate to liaise with customers and suppliers based in China.
