We are a marketing communications and event company with corporate clients in Malaysia and Cambodia. Our client portfolios span multiple industries, including real estate (condominiums, office suites), hospitality (hotels), and telecommunications. As our projects and responsibilities continue to grow, we are expanding our team and looking for proactive and skilled Marketing & Event Assistants to support our Marketing Director in day-to-day operations.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Marketing & Event Manager to work closely with the Marketing Director. In this role, you will manage project execution, oversee market analysis, and lead event planning and coordination team. You will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies across various industries and ensuring the successful delivery of all client projects and events. This role also includes overseeing the creation of proposals and presentations, and ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution of marketing and event strategies across multiple industries, ensuring they meet client goals and deadlines.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of events, from concept to execution, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to provide insights into industry trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling and data-driven proposals and presentations for clients across different sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects and events.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and logistics, and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client communications, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Stay informed of developments within the real estate, hospitality, and telecommunications industries, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a marketing and event management role, ideally within real estate, hospitality, or telecommunications industries.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience delivering high-quality presentations and proposals.
  • A results-driven and proactive approach, with the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience mentoring junior staff.
  • Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets, particularly Malaysia and Cambodia, is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
