Are you a passionate Mechanical Engineer eager to dive into the dynamic world of production maintenance? We're looking for a driven individual to lead and coordinate maintenance activities across various aspects of our production line.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Maintenance Activities: Oversee maintenance in production line and compounding, including chains, sprockets, gears, tracks, ovens, dipping tanks, holders, and other mechanical components.
- Equipment Services: Manage offline maintenance for equipment such as burners, blowers, motors, and other relevant production line equipment.
- Stripping and Layering Line: Handle offline maintenance for equipment services in production stripping and layering lines.
- Electrical and Electronic Controls: Lead maintenance activities in electrical and electronic controls and instrumentation, including sensors, PLC, HMI, control panels, probes, relays, and other automation control devices.
- SCADA System Support: Assist with maintenance activities for the SCADA system and its components.
- Collaboration: Work with production teams to address quality and output issues related to automation and instrumentation.
- Optimization: Optimize operational costs and energy usage through improved automation controls.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality maintenance work by coordinating with relevant teams and taking ownership.
- Problem-Solving: Conduct root-cause analysis and implement fast corrective and preventive actions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records and data for traceability and verify scheduled maintenance execution.
- CMMS Utilization: Utilize CMMS for streamlined maintenance operations and preventive job orders.
- Framework Planning: Plan and implement frameworks for more effective maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- CMMS Expertise: Knowledge of CMMS and maintenance best practices.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Location: Applicants must be willing to work in Klang.
