We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Strategist to join our team in the bakery manufacturing sector. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring the efficient flow of materials, production scheduling, and distribution of our high-quality baked goods. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, production teams, and logistics providers to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.

You'll make a difference by:

· Overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.

· Ensuring the warehouse layout is optimized for efficiency, safety, and easy access to inventory.

· Implementing and enforcing safety procedures and standards in the warehouse.

· Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and movements using ERP system.

· Conducting quarterly inventory stock count to verify accuracy

· Implementing inventory management best practices to reduce wastage

· Planning and managing the logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation.

· Optimizing routes and transportation methods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

· Negotiating with carriers and logistics service providers to secure competitive rates.

· Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that arise.

· Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, warehouse and logistics processes for greater efficiency and cost savings.

· Implementing new technologies or systems that enhance the performance of warehouse and logistics operations.

· Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all procurement, warehouse and logistics activities.

· Monitoring and managing the budget for procurement, warehouse and logistics operations.

· Implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on service quality or safety.

· Analyzing procurement & logistics costs and identify areas for reduction.

· Lead, train, and develop procurement, warehouse and logistics team to perform at their best.

· Set performance targets for the team and monitor progress towards achieving them.

· Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and encourage staff to contribute ideas for process enhancements.

What we're looking for:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement within the Food & Beverage industry, preferably in a bakery setting.

· Strong knowledge of F&B production processes, particularly in bakery products.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast and manage budgets effective

· Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations

· Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
