Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the Company’s full set of accounts with minimal supervision.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operational matters of the accounts department, compliance of internal control procedure and accounting policy.
- Prepare and perform monthly variance analysis on all expenses against the budget.
- Monitor bank balance / cash flow position and fund placement.
- Coordinate and prepare the financial budget / projection and performance target and monitor financial performance against the budgeted / projected financial.
- Liaise with Financial Institutions, auditors, tax agent on accounting and financial related matters.
- Responsible in managing, updating, improving and maintaining an accurate and effective filing system.
- To support and participate in ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting/Finance/Taxation or other accounting-related fields.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Experience in construction industry would be an added advantage.
- Good technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Ability to work in a team and a good sense of responsibility.
- Analytical, resourceful, organized, meticulous, responsible, excellent problem-solving skills and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and AutoCount accounting software and HR Software.
- Good command of written & spoken English, Malay and Mandarin.
