  • Interior designers and decorators plan and design commercial, industrial, public, retail and residential building interiors to produce an environment tailored to a purpose, taking into consideration factors that enhance living and working environments and sales promotion. They coordinate and participate in their construction and decoration.
  • Determining the objectives and constraints of the design brief by consulting with clients and stakeholders;
  • Researching and analyzing spatial, functional, efficiency, safety and aesthetic requirements;
  • Formulating design concepts for the interiors of buildings;
  • Preparing sketches, diagrams, illustrations and plans to communicate design concepts;
  • Negotiating design solutions with clients, management, suppliers and construction staff;
  • Selecting, specifying and recommending functional and aesthetic materials, furniture and products for interiors;
  • Detailing and documenting selected design for construction;
  • Coordinating the construction and the decoration of interiors;
  • Monitor and maintain project management tools and systems
  • Coordinate project status, updates and challenges with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including marketing, design and operations to ensure smooth project flow
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications SPM/Diploma/Degree or higher academic qualifications in any relevant fields.

  • Computer literate and numerate.

  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English and Mandarin
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing projects from inception to completion
  • Maintain project schedules, update task lists and track progress against key deliverables
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting agendas and take minutes to ensure follow ups are executed
  • Ensure compliance with projects specifications, deadlines, and company policies
  • Assist in budget tracking and resource allocations for multiple projects
  • Identify risks and propose mitigations strategies to avoid project delays or cost overruns
  • Support in the preparation of project reports presentations and documentations
  • Candidates must at least posses a diploma or equivalent
