Security and Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security breaches.
• Monitor security camera systems and respond to any suspicious activity or alerts.
• Act as the first responder to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Coordinate with emergency services and manage evacuation procedures as needed.
• Document and report all incidents, accidents, and security breaches in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare detailed reports for management and assist with investigations as required.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and property policies.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Conduct security and safety training sessions for property staff and tenants as necessary.
• Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date records of security logs, incident reports, and access control data.
• Assist with the development and implementation of security and safety policies and procedures.
• Liaise with local authorities such as lodging police report as and when required

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree or higher in criminal justice, security management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a security or safety role, preferably in a property management or residential setting.
• Strong observational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency with security systems and technology.
