Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security breaches.
- Monitor security camera systems and respond to any suspicious activity or alerts.
- Act as the first responder to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
- Coordinate with emergency services and manage evacuation procedures as needed.
- Document and report all incidents, accidents, and security breaches in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare detailed reports for management and assist with investigations as required.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and property policies.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Conduct security and safety training sessions for property staff and tenants as necessary.
- Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date records of security logs, incident reports, and access control data.
- Assist with the development and implementation of security and safety policies and procedures.
- Liaise with local authorities such as lodging police report as and when required
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree or higher in criminal justice, security management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a security or safety role, preferably in a property management or residential setting.
- Strong observational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency with security systems and technology.
- Physically fit
