Duties & Responsibilities:
•To assist in developing, execution, managing, and maintaining product and strategies focusing on the right market trends, consumer behaviors, products, prices, to achieve departmental KPI.
•To provide reporting, analysis and strategic market information with business implications/ recommendation to support effective and efficient business decisions.
•Able to analyze sales figures, understand and identify target customer preferences, future trends and challenges with detailed analysis to anticipate product needs as per Market Trend.
•To monitor on the sales progress and performance weekly & monthly, providing weekly & monthly category, sales & margin analysis.
•Liaise with local and overseas suppliers for product sourcing, and pricing requirements. Analyze pricing and negotiate best costing for product quote by supplier.
•Negotiate agreement terms with vendors.
•Monitor stock levers and forecast purchasing quantity.
•Manage vendor according to quality, price, stock, delivery lead time.
•To work together with manager on upcoming events or planning of the particular department, monitor inventory turnover, sales performance and achievement.
•Coordinate with various departments e.g.: operations, account, IT, supply chain.
•Ensure proper filing, sorting, and retrievable of electronic & hard-copy documents.
•Attend fairs, events, exhibitions to stay updated with the latest market trends of retail stores.
•Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
•Minimum 2 years of experience in category managing & sales data analysis or similar position.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
•Strong analytical and project management skills.
•Creative and resourceful.
•Customer-oriented approach.
•Critical thinker and good problem-solving skills.
•Team player with good teamwork skills.
•Good time-management skills.
•Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
•Good in MS Office and other basic computing tasks (proficient in Excel data analysis will be an additional advantage).
